Dr. Keisha Griffin is the Founder and CEO of Steele Consulting Services, where she partners with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, higher education institutions, foundations, and mission-driven organizations to strengthen capacity and create sustainable impact.

With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, Dr. Griffin brings expertise in organizational development, operations, strategic planning, grants management, public policy, applied research, compliance, and program evaluation.

The Meaning Behind Steele

The name Steele is deeply personal. It is Dr. Griffin’s mother’s maiden name and honors her legacy following her passing in 2016.

For Dr. Griffin, Steele represents strength, resilience, integrity, diligence, and an unwavering work ethic—values that continue to shape both her leadership and the work of the firm.

Her expertise spans the complete grant lifecycle—From Concept to Closeout™—along with applied research and policy analysis that transforms evidence into practical strategies for organizations and communities.

Dr. Griffin holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

In 2026, she also earned a professional certificate in Innovative Leadership in Public Administration from Georgetown University.
